The Recycling Center is located conveniently behind the Town of Tazewell EMS building at 403 Steeles Lane Tazewell, VA 24651

Hours of Operation
Monday – Saturday
Dawn to Dusk
Under 24/7 Surveillance

  • NO littering and NO bags left at gate.
  • All garbage must be in trash bags and placed inside the garbage dumpster.
  • All recyclables must be placed in the appropriate recycling bin and not enclosed in bags.

Unfortunately, due to plastics and glass no longer being picked up statewide we DO NOT have a recycling bin for plastics and glass.
All plastics and glass need to be disposed of with your regular garbage.

Any person in violation of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by confinement in jail for not more than 12 months and a fine of not less than $250 or more than $2,500, either or both.
